CLIC implementation studies
Implementation studies for the CLIC project are organized around two poles:
1. Civil engineering and infrastructure
- Define and optimize civil works, both underground and at ground level, for housing the CLIC accelerator and detector complex
- Define and optimize technical infrastructure for the CLIC complex
- Identify main environmental impacts and prepare Environmental Impact Study
2. Project Implementation Plan
- Update and maintain project PBS/WBS compatible with revised parameters
- Update value estimates compatible with revised parameters, conduct value engineering of critical cost drivers
- Conduct preliminary safety assessment of the project
- Refine energy and power consumption estimates, identify and develop actions towards energy and power efficiency.
