CLIC linac systems
CLIC linac systems The CLIC linac systems activity comprises work on the main linac two beam module, the drive beam injector including the drive beam rf power source and main beam injector studies. Our team build several prototype two beam modules which are tested with and without beam. The focus is on the thermo-mechanical behaviour

CLIC experimental verification
CLIC experimental verification The objective of the Experimental Verification activity is to conduct system tests at CERN and elsewhere – in most cases with beams – in order to validate the CLIC scheme and provide feedback to design and hardware development studies. The main activity is centered on the CLIC Test Facility CTF3, built at

CTF3 general description
CTF3 general description The CLIC Test Facility 3 (CTF3) is primarily a scaled version of the CLIC drive beam complex. It produces the high-current drive beam that generates the 12 GHz RF power for the CLIC accelerating structures. CTF3 first accelerates a 4 A beam up to 120 MeV, in a fully loaded linac with

CTF3
CTF3 stopped its operation at the end of 2016 after successfully completing its programme. Analysis of data and results are still on-going and will be an integral part of the CLIC project plan by the end of 2018. Some future measurements for CLIC will take place using the new user facility CLEAR.
